Christopher and his team were approached by Flexible Flyer—an iconic name in American wintertime tradition and one of the most enduring sled brands in the country. The company was seeking to create a brand impact video that would reignite interest and nostalgia for their storied sleds, particularly in the digital space where their presence had been minimal.

With virtually no existing video advertising online, Christopher’s approach was to keep the messaging clear and emotionally resonant. The first step was understanding what the Flexible Flyer brand truly means to its customers. What compels someone to choose a Flexible Flyer over any other sled?

For many, the answer lies in memory. Childhood snow days, the thrill of a hill, and the simple joy of racing through fresh powder—those carefree moments are etched in the minds of generations. During location scouting, the team serendipitously discovered several vintage Flexible Flyer sleds in the garage of the home chosen for filming. Despite being over 50 years old, the sleds were intact—weathered but still rideable, a testament to the quality craftsmanship synonymous with the brand.

This discovery helped shape the heart of the campaign. The team drew a connection between quality and memories—between timeless construction and timeless moments. From this, the slogan was born: “Quality sleds for lasting memories.”

The narrative that unfolded from there was simple yet powerful: a father and daughter enjoying a snow day together, bonding through the shared joy of sledding on a Flexible Flyer. It’s a visual love letter to nostalgia, craftsmanship, and the moments that make winter magical.
